I'm Elizabeth.
Bio
I'm Dr. Elizabeth Woodworth, and I was born and raised in California. My education included time in California, Idaho, Texas, and then I moved to teach in Alabama working for Auburn. The last teaching gig I had as a professor was the Army War College in Carlisle, PA. I'm retired now and traveling. But first, I'm a visiting scholar at Baylor University Fall 2026 doing research on poetry in the public sphere and its impact on politics and domestic and foreign policy. I plan to spend this next part of my life writing essays and spending time thinking about creativity, haiku, 18th-century French salons, rhetoric, and for a good portion of that time, the Victorians.
